I won't even get into the hassle of this surprise. I buy vintage jewelry and it can be heartbreaking when you receive your long awaited box only to open it and find your previously beautiful vintage items in pieces because nothing was secure and had been roughly floating around a box traveling thousands of miles. You will occasionally get some good deals but will be disappointed with the items you were deceived on or received broken because of their "handling". For some reason they are allowed to sell counterfeit jewelry, which you are not supposed to own by the way so I'd like to thank them for trying to make me into a criminal. My guess is this is the fee you are charged for them throwing your items from one box to another before slapping a label on it and tossing it to the FedEx driver. Some lots will also charge you a handling fee. Just be warned, check the shipping price, they don't care what they charge you and most of it seems to come from greed.
the manager or person answering the phone apparently does not know this information. Soooo, Goodwill does pick up however, do NOT call Apple Valley, MN Goodwill and ask.

I then mentioned hearing that some Goodwill's will pick up and inquired if she knew of any in the area. The lady on the other end firmly stated they do not pick up. I called the nearest Goodwill near me, which is in Apple Valley, MN asking if they pick up furniture.
The whole thing was there now they ripped it in half. The receipt had the date of purchase on it now that is going it was shown in the pictures. They have a Lotta complaints.Also they took the original receipt for my sewing machine and tore the top half off really pisses me off. Go to eBay a better selection and a guarantee isn't what is described as guess what you get your money back not throwing away like this place. And if you ask any question they just tell you we're sorry it's packed and already in the warehouse. If you ask me, they need to be held accountable. They are thieves hiding behind the Goodwill name sure they help people by ripping, honest citizens off out here trying to help them. Not only do they hide defects.They don't tell you if it is defective so if you buy here on goodwill it will be as is no returns.I bought a sewing machine listed as powers on needle moves but didn't bother to tell me it made a very loud noise not normal and they just don't care.I paid good money for it.Very disappointed I could have bought a brand new model for the price I paid.I even found a large piece of dry dog food wedged against the flywheel.Dry dog food fell out of the box it was shipped in.This had me puzzled and not very happy were was this stored in a dog pound.
In my dealings with them, my experience is that they have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! Shop goodwill in my opinion are just scammers using non profit as a cover to rip good people off. Shortly thereafter, 2 more of the same bracelets were listed, with the weight in title. When brought to their attention, denied any wrong doing, except that they put the 15.29 in the heading and should have just had picture of scale with the item on it. Upon receipt only 2 grams was gold and the rest was silicon. One such item was an Italian bracelet listed at 15.29 grams. I have also brought to stores attention that their item was ambiguously listed. It is happening in several Goodwill locations, not jut one. Upon checking further have noticed the same item coming back for bid at the same site. I have also read feedback recently and a problem came to my attention that another person identified. So for the hundreds of dollars spent for each pocket watch, I am going to get a few cents back. Upon recently having items tested by independent gold refining Co, discovered they are all plated or gold filled. I purchase several 14K gold pocket watches in the past from different Shop goodwill sites.
